November 2010: Global Month of Action?

Declaring November 2010 to be a
"Global Month of Action for Free Education"?
During the international chat meeting on January 17th activists in 10 countries discussed the suggestion to declare November 2010 to be a "Global Month of Action for Free Education" [free not just in a monetary sense].
Arguments that support this:
- it is always difficult to find a time frame where all groups around the world can mobilize for actions, looking at all the protests in Nov. 2009 seems to prove that November is a good month for most;
- there is still enough time to co-ordinate and mobilize worldwide [the European Education Congress in June 2010 in Bochum [Germany] can be used to discuss and co-ordinate this] -> after the congress groups and activists still have 5 months to mobilize, network and co-ordinate!
- upcoming protests and forums/conferences in Frankfurt/M [Germany, Jan.], Vienna [Austria, March], Milan [Spain, April], Istanbul [Turkey, June] and elsewhere could be used to discuss this and network locally, regionally and globally.
PLEASE DISCUSS THIS IDEA LOCALLY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AND GIVE FEEDBACK, so that we can agree on this soon.
Feedback can be posted inside the forum here or emailed to united.for.education[at]gmail.com
Also make use of this poll.
The "International Student Movement" can be used as a platform to co-ordinate and discuss the "Global Month of Action for Free Education" globally.

An international chat meeting to discuss the "November 2010" suggestion together with the opportunity to turn June 9th into a "Global Day of Action" will take place on Feb.28th at 4pm GMT.
Details to be announced soon.
